The Grinch, when he realized he didn’t have to hate Christmas. He just had to ignore it.
Instead, I celebrate that the days are starting to get longer. I celebrate that in those cold days that still await us, there is actually already the germ of the warmth of next spring and summer.
I enjoy the light of home because such light drives away darkness and fear in these long nights.
For me, peace and quiet is an opportunity to slow down, where I finally have time to read a book during the day, appreciate the present with your employees moment, and perhaps take a breath before the next year.
This is a “tradition” that I am building.
