Should you learn SQL or Python first?

Of course that’s no problem. But for a newbie, learning SQL from scratch may still be a little difficult. At the beginning, you will encounter a stage where you need to break down the problem using logic and then express it using SQL syntax . I personally was stuck on this stage for a while.

Personal past learning experience

So when I first started learning SQL, I was very slow in solving problems and felt very frustrated.

Later, I joined ccClub and learned the basics of Python. After I had a basic understanding of data structure and data type, I came back to write SQL and many problems were easily solved. So I think for people without experience, it would be much easier to learn SQL after having a more complete understanding of how programs work, and they would not spend too much time getting stuck in areas where they are confused.
