At XChange, I served as the Podacst producer for two newly established companies, Wanmei Mobile and Wanli Cloud. I was in charge of everything from invitations, interview outline preparation, ecuador phone number library post-production to publicity. It really felt like I was back to being a BD.
I think the two biggest gains are: one is that I actually produced the podcast type of content that I have always wanted to try; the other is that I got to know some amazing Taiwanese startups and reflected on myself through them. When I visited the BD director of Wanmei Mobile and listened to him talk about the skills required for BD, I also reflected on myself and then felt fortunate that I had left the BD function. After all, my personality traits are really not suitable for this job.
XChange is learning
When I was interviewing the founder of Wanliyun, he said something that has left a deep impression on me to this day: ” Do the right thing repeatedly .” What he meant was that this is actually how a startup company works. Constantly copying feasible experiences, repeating them over and over again will eventually produce results. But I think it is also suitable for application in your own life planning. Stick to it, repeat the things you think are important and effective, and you will eventually get good results.
Joining XChange was a very interesting experience, keep business moving with a call-forwarding number but I felt that the effect of achieving my original goal of meeting more interesting people seemed to be limited. Instead, I needed to invest a lot of energy in relatively uninteresting areas. Therefore, I joined at the beginning of the year and decided to quit at the end of the year. However, I still recommend everyone to listen to these two podcasts I made!
For me, ccClub is doing what I like and it is also a part of the training for supervisors.
This year, the number of subscribers to the ccClub YouTube channel has grown to 2,330, and 6 videos have been produced. For ordinary people who run YouTube, this may not be a very impressive number, but I think it is a good achievement for a team of volunteers with almost no budget. I would like to applaud and encourage the members of our YouTube group again.
