I’m combining ChatGPT , Google Bard , and to a limited extent AI chat in the Bing browser at the end of 2023. Lately I’ve been preferring Bard because it’s similarly reliable or better than ChatGPT, has up-to-date information, and can link to real sites.
So what do I use artificial intelligence for? Sorted by usefulness for me.
A short disclaimer: Please take the points below as my subjective assessment. I am not an expert, I don’t have time to read new trends, so the list and even the assessment may not correspond to the experiences of other users.
Design or edit headings
Give AI your headline or the entire text you’re looking for the right headline for and ask it for several variations. Don’t like it? Try it again and the worst results ask for shorter versions, for example. So far, I’ve always chosen. Or I’ve edited a version.
Usability 90%
Generating points and arguments on a selected topic
This is the strength of AI. It almost always comes up with an idea that I wouldn’t have come up with myself.
Usability 90%
“Sucking out” long text content
Another part where I forget to use AI. Many people praise how great it is to get a summary in a few sentences (especially when you can tell how long the summary should be). When I tried it, I was very satisfied. So far, the only limitation I see is that you have to be able to get the text into the AI somehow. And if you don’t have the paid version, you will probably be limited in scope. And if you ask it, it will also add “its opinion”.
Usability 90%
By the way, there are already AI applications the worst results that can write summaries from audio recordings. Sometimes I would like to use them for a short summary of a long podcast. But I haven’t found a solution for that yet. If we know of one, please let me know.
Questions about history
This is not so much about work anymore. You’re looking for historical facts, conspiracy theories, possibilities, current theories. You get all of this from AI with a high degree of reliability.
