Samsung Appoints New Head Of Brand Marketing

In a statement to, Samsung said Lynn Chong will lead a team to drive integrated Brand Marketing campaigns and initiatives for smartphones, tablets and including Samsung wearables in Singapore.

In this position, she will report to Sarah Chua, vice president of IT and Mobile at Samsung Electronics in Singapore.

A Samsung Spokesperson Said

“Having worked in both Agency and Client roles, Ms. Chong is a seasoned brand marketer with extensive experience in consumer electronics, travel, finance and essential services.

During her time at OCBC Bank, where she held various roles including head of brand and product marketing at OCBC Plus, product and commerce lead for mobile payments and Product manager for FRANK study abroad loans.

Ms. Chong also has agency experience, having held roles such as sales manager at TILT Advertising , client manager at XM Asia Pacific, as well as client manager at Ogilvy.

Ms. Chong’s appointment comes as Samsung Electronics Singapore is looking for new ways to market its products and services.

They also recently launched a filmmaking contest related to their upcoming branded film festival.

According to Samsung, their branded film festival will highlight the advanced photography and videography features of their CMB Directory latest smartphone, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
